At this point this morning:
Rivals Crabtree and Farrell think Oregon, rather convincingly. Crabtree spent the day with the Brown family yesterday.
Oregon fans on Rivals/Scout are optimistically thinking Oregon.
Kansas State fans mostly believe it will be Oregon, although I'm sure Snyder die hards are holding out hope.
Miami fans, still insult everyone and claim they were over Brown, when in reality Brown was over Miami and they knew it. The Cane fans seem to be split on Oregon/Tenn
Tenn fans def the most arrogant of the bunch, few think Oregon while most are claiming VOLS BITCH-(their little call to arms or whatever)
LSU fans- pretty quiet seem to be on the out looking in, sort of a mixed bag of Oregon/Tenn folks.

Mops says Oregon and that's all you need to know. I agree. Welcome Brown family.

I hope you are right. I am having some serious doubts though. Last I read, you had "seriously cooled" on thinking he would come here. Either way, we'll all know very soon.

J-Hop ... has Crabtree come out today and said he thinks it's going to be Oregon?!? Based on his comments last night, it sounded like he was pretty adament about not making any type of "prediction" on which school BB will choose. My feeling is that Crabtree probably knows what the decision is ... it would be tough to keep from him if he spent so much time with the family yesterday and last night. If I'm wrong though, and he has since come out and said that his feeling is Oregon ... that HAS to be a good sign for us. I know we'll see one way or another in just four hours, but who wants to wait that long! :D

Mitchski, some radio guy in Kansas talked with Crabby this morning and came away after talking with him pretty convinced Crabby thinks Oregon. Farrell predicted Oregon late last week. So...........
I'm hot and cold, my mind tells me to not hold out too much hope so I'm not disappointed, but I can't help it and this morning the buzz seems to be about Oregon, and really the thought of this kid in our backfield with Harper/Masoli/Gaines/Blount/Dickson and all the talent, WOW!

There's something about recruiting that makes me feel cynical about this. But, that said I feel really excited about the chance that he'll choose the Ducks!

Either way I think it's been great that we've been part of the conversation for the nation's #1 recruit for the second year in a row. This is great exposure and definately helps the perception that we are becoming an elite program.

With that said, I really hope he becomes a Duck. I believe our offense is one of the few around where a RB can still win a Heisman.

Does anyone know what time the announcement is?

Well, J-Hop, you and I are on the same page, and seem to be following all of the info that's out there. I agree ... a lot of Duck momentum this morning, as it sounds like the Crabtree radio interview this morning might have clarified a few of the things that he said in his article from meeting the Brown family last night. Maybe not, and I'm just trying to give it a Duck spin, but let's keep our fingers crossed.

I think what's important here is that neither Bryce, or his family, has ever come out and talked about "distance" being an issue in this deal. Nor was it ever discussed how Oregon could be negative for the family in any way, shape, or form. It's always been assumed (and possibly rightfully so) that these potential issues could be factors in the decision, but at the end of the day, that very well may not have been the case. If we go by what Bryce has said ... he has ALWAYS had nothing but VERY good things to say about Oregon, and obviously about his relationship with Chip Kelly. If the final decision truly came down to where Bryce felt he had created the best relationships ... I like our chances. That's simply because, one, Bryce has been so vocal about his relationship with Chip all along, and two, is it realistic to create that type of relationship with other coaches in a matter of 3-5 weeks, the same as the relationships that have been created over the past year with Oregon coaches?! Only a few more hours . . . !!!

Man those Vols fans will not let up, they seem SO certain that his LOI is already signed and sitting on their desk. It's very convincing, man I'm having a real tough time here.

MOPS, are you basing this on stuff you have heard today or is it simply a guy feeling type of deal?
