Someone can post the games to keep an eye on. But really, it's all about Stanford vs Oregon this weekend. We really need the upper Big 12 teams to lose. They are stealing lots of BCS votes from Oregon (OKST, OK, KState, Texas).

Any chance T. Tech can knock off the Cowboys this week? I'd like to think that Ok St.'s unexpected dogfight with KSU last week is indicative of some weaknesses being exposed.

It actually looked like Tech was on their way to a decent season, especially after beating OU in Norman. But then they were completely torched at home by Iowa State and now it seems like the wheels have come off. I actually think there might be a better chance (even if still not a great one) of OSU stumbling next week at ISU on Friday night, as the Cyclones have gotten a little momentum and will be coming off a bye week.

Other games to watch:

No. 10 Virginia Tech at No. 21 Georgia Tech - VT can backdoor their way into the NCG with a lot of luck and a win here..a win here and VT will be one game away from locking up the Coastal Division of the ACC.

No. 2 Oklahoma State at Texas Tech - OSU could be in for a letdown game after a tough battle against Kansas State last week, and after all TT did hand Oklahoma their first loss of the year.

No. 19 Nebraska at No. 12 Penn State - If Penn State wins here they could be on their way to run the table and taking the Big 10 Championship which would give them a strong argument to play for the NC with their only loss being to Bama.

TCU at No. 5 Boise State - If TCU hands Boise State their first lost it will end the Bronco's Championship dreams.

No. 3 Alabama at Mississippi State - State has been a disappointment this year...BUT...they have hung in there with some close games against some good SEC opponents and they get Bama at home after a hard fought emotional game against LSU...watch out for an upset. (Long shot but I'm a optimist)

ETA: with a big game in the PAC, in the ACC, in the SEC, and in the Big 10, Big 12 and even a one in the Mountain West that has NC implications...I looked for a big game in the Big East...GOD they are insignificant this year. Not one game that may have an effect nationally….for the rest of the YEAR. They shouldn’t get a automatic bid this year.

So much for Texas Tech having a chance. Down 35-0 barely into the 2nd quarter.

How did Texas Tech beat Oklahoma? They are just sucking it up today against Okie State.

They've been pretty terrible actually since they left Norman.

Considering how bad Texas Tech is it will be really frustrating the rest of the year if we beat Stanford and are still behind Oklahoma.
