and the judge that let him out on bail knows Sandusky and gave money to his charity a few years back

I knew about the judge being on the board of trustees for his charity but this lawyer thing...wtf?

The judge needs to be called in front of the board of ethics for a clear conflict of interest. If Sandusky was to jump bail, she would be absolutely screwed.

As for the lawyer...wow. Maybe it would be in Sandusky's best interest to not hire a statutory rapist.

Age of consent in Pennsylvania is 16 according to news report I read.

OK well then let's just say awful decision making...a decision that is quite unbecoming of a legal professional. But hey, pedophile/pederast type people stick together.

I hope your not saying it's ok because the age of consent is 16. I believe most states go by that age for consent. It doesnt take away that it is still statutory rape. She was not an adult or what the law considers an adult. The 16yrs old consent law is for teenagers and mentaly challenged adults with the brain development of someone under 18 consenting to have sex. Now if a 17yr old descides to have sex with a 15yr old, they can be brought up on rape charges, because the courts don't see the 15yr old as mature enough to make a choice like that. Ok this can get real deep and I don't know all the laws, what I do know is anyone who thinks its ok for a 49yr old to hook up with a 16yr old needs to go get some help, before someone like me finds out that there 16yr old daughter is dating a 49yr old man.

Should really make your point clear when posting something like that on a subject like this. course im just an over pertective dad of 2 teenage daughters.

Rape to engage in deviate sexual intercourse with a complainant who is less than (1) 13 years of age or (2) 16 years of age and the actor is four or more years older.

Since the attorney wasn't charged I'll guess it wasn't statutory rape under Pennsylvania law.

that's exactly what happened. I don't know why they didn't press charges. Maybe because the girl was getting emancipated anyway. or had already been? I don't think that affects the law, but it might change if they press charges or not.

And he was the guy that got her emancipated

Reread the entire section which includes ...complainant who is less than... The girl was 16, which is above the threshold of "less than 16".

Apparently, she wasn't "Complaining"...

oh i missed that maxduck. most of the statutes i've seen say younger than 13, then older than 13 but younger than 16, then older than 16 but younger than 18.


kind of weird that PA would make it 16 flat. ew. creepy.


so a 15 yr old turning 16 tomorrow can't have sex with somebody who is 21, but then the next day when she turns 16, she can have filthy sex with a 50 year old.
