Bryce Brown

Post by bucketz4 »

Ray Ray Armstrong is doing his part along with all the other Miami homers writing on Bryce Brown's facebook wall trying to get him to come to the U. It would be nice if we could get Tahj to commit so he can do some lobbying of his own.

I doubt any of those homers have anymore persuading power than his own brother that is already down there.

It sure has gotten more difficult for the nerves the last few years. I don't remember being as nervous about who was or wasn't going to commit to us when we weren't in the running for top players. But I guess I wouldn't changed it...........I just have to remind myself that as long as we continue to win we will get better and better players. What a year if we could get both Boyd and Brown!

oh i dont doubt that, its just that when i saw another miami recruit talking to him I thought that it would be nice to have a horse in the race. I know if i was a kid being recruited it would be nice to hear from another top player reassuring me about my decision and not just coaches.

We do have a "horse in the race," Chris Harper. How quickly we forget.

Is Harper actually actively recruiting him? I haven't heard anything about Harper being involved since BB's visit.

Brown has said we are in the lead for him as of 3 days ago. IMO I think maybe Boyd and Brown want to make a splash and announce on the sameday in tandem or something and we are waiting on his trip to SC to be sure. Just a guess.

Brown is now a soft verbal on Miami site. Correct me if i'm wrong , but if BB trips to USC, then he can't visit the "u" because his out of trips ?? That would be big for us, and bad for Miami.

No he has two trips left. One is held for Miami. The other is up for grabs between USC, Tenn., and Auburn I believe.

I just don't see BB going to SC. With a new and virtually unknown OC in Morton, I just can't see him going with an unknown coordinator. Also Morton is more focused on the WR's than the RBs meaning pass first, so that could have an influence on Brown's thinking. Kelly is a proven offensive genius and has obviously impressed Brown.

I'm not worried about him going to USC at all....I don't see it happening.

I think Oregon is a long shot over Miami, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. 8-)

Brown said the other day we are leading over Miami. We are at least 50-50

Possible Boyd flies to LA so they can both put on their Duck hats in Tinsletown together. Would be quite a stage.
