Oregon's T&F team took a major hit after Matthew Centrowitz has decided to forgo his SR year and turn pro so he can concentrate on the 2012 Olympics. With him and also Verbizkas leaving, I don't really see the men's team competing for the national title this year and even a repeat as conference champions is questionable.

What a disappointment. Why is Verbizkas leaving?

He's going leaving so he can turn pro for triathlons.
