The Pac 12 is quickly becoming the land of misfit coaches.

And some said it couldn't happen. ;)

Good hire for both Leach and the Cougars; they fill the seats and justify the $80 million they are spending to upgrade Martin Stadium, Leach gets to resurrect his career. It's gonna be fun.

Great hire by WSU and to do it so fast before others get a chance at Leach.
Still not convinced UCLA can bring in anyone big. Peterson is a pipe dream for them. I could see ASU attracting a big name though.

Very good hire. I think he'll use them as a stepping-stone, though.

5 years, 2.25 million a season combined with cost of living in pullman is a pretty big draw for him though. He seemed pretty comfortable at Tech too and I wonder if after his incident, he's become a bit more humbled. Reading his bio he grew up in Cody, WY which makes Pullman look warm in the winter. There is also a bit more job security that comes with being in Pullman than say Tuscaloosa!

And not to mention the guy was at Texas Tech for how many years?.... and according to Google he was only making 1.75 million at the time.

Home run hire for Wazzu
