Rivals premium story by Nebraska writer.

"There is no one team in the lead," Heimuli said. "I like Nebraska, Michigan State, UCLA, Oregon State and Stanford a lot. I'd like to visit those places."

"I keep in touch with Utah and BYU a lot too. I'm only about two miles from the Utah campus so I stop in to say 'hi' to the coaches about once a week. I get up to BYU once in a while to."

One campus that Heimuli said he's almost certain he'll visit next fall is the University of Nebraska.

I have a quick question: when these players leave on missions whats the deal with their schollie? Do we/they still have to honor it when the return in two years, is the player still counted as holding a schollie even though they're gone? Just curious because with hamani leaving does that open up another spot for us for next years recruiting class thanks.

It does open up a spot for this year, which we are desperately needing. CK told Mosley they are at 85 players currently.
BTW-Hamani may not be back either but we'll see.

Interesting thanks for the update jhop, i though hamani said he liked it here and was going to honor his schollie when he gets back. has something changed?

I've heard him say that and I've heard others that were a little more skeptical of his return. Guess we'll just have to see.
Man I wish we had more schollies this year.

Jhop....

this kids story is sounding very familiar. we "snuck in" and stole Haloti Ngata from BYU via Nebraska back in 2002. would be great if we could repeat that scenario again with this kid!

Go Ducks!

It would appear that the Ducks may have decided not to pursue him quite as hard as original due to him going to school one year and then going on his missions trip. And since we are short on offers this year and need to fill that position BAD with Cellotto leaving, that doesn't really work well into our plans.
