CBS SPRING TOP 25

Post by bmxryder507 »

thought this was kinda funny..

"8. Oregon: A couple of years ago Chip Kelly was an offensive coordinator for I-AA New Hampshire. Now he's running the show in Nikeville. Mike Bellotti, the dean of Pac-10 coaches, is sliding over to become AD. Kelly is an offensive guy, as innovative as they come. As long as Ducks D-coordinator Nick Alliotti is left alone to keep working his magic, Oregon will challenge USC for the Pac-10 title.Watch: The running game. For all of the fireworks in Kelly's playbook, Oregon was second nationally in rushing last season. "

Lets not harp on this guy to much we don't know his definition of "magical"! He might have meant tiring out USCs WRs and RBs so we tire them out and finally catch up to them to pull out a close win...

Just Brutal!

dodd does not know what the hell he's talking about. aliotti has his ups and downs over the years (a LOT fewer ups than downs), but he's hardly magical.

unless if he's referring to the defense's disappearing act

That is unbelievably hilarious. What game was CBS watching that made them think that. Might they look at our passing defense stats and where they are compared to the top tier programs like Florida.. or USC. Maybe they thought needing our offense to score 60 points a game just to secure a win means we have a great defenseive scheme. I have long been an advocate of getting rid of Allow A Lot E.

If it's based on him believing that our defense is magical, ya it's crap.
