Wasn't he way up on the Duck's wish list a few years ago? What I remember is although he was the ideal dual threat QB but he wanted to a pro style and chose USC over Oregon. Apparently not a great decision as he is reported to be transferring, leaving the Trojans with only a couple RS freshmen behind Matt Barkley.

OK by me... Just means a bigger question mark for USC, should Barkley bite the the dust.
Boise State needs a replacement for the departed Kellen Moore. Oops... I forgot they weren't an FCS program!

It was speculated for years when he'd transfer. I wish him well. Did himself no favors being academically ineligible when he was healthy though. He basically never got reps and found himself behind Kessler & Wittek in a hurry. Hope he winds up in a good spot and finishes his collegiate career with a bang.

Not bad for a kid who said he'd win 4 Heisman's.

When did he say that? I thought Clausen was the kid who stated he'd win 4 Heismans and 4 NC's.

I read it somewhere that he said something similar like that.

I guess he said it before he chose to go to USC. It'd be odd making a claim like that when he knew he'd be sitting behind Barkley for a couple of years.

Ryan Perrilloux claimed he would win 4 Heisman's, Jimmy Clausen predicted 4 NC's during his time at Notre Dame.

That's right. Sorry, couldn't keep my cocky backup QB bold predictions straight.

"I'm going to look for a college who could win the national championship in 2012."
Ah, for the brash, invincible, braggadocio of youth!

Although, in his defense, I's sure more than one adult recruiter has used the line "If you come to XYZ we can win a championship". Can't totally blame a kid for picking up that theme.

Doesn't sound too brash/bold, and it's not like USC hasn't won a NC in the last 10 years.
