Army converted a player who is 6'10" 300lbs who runs a 4.8 40 to WR. He's a junior and has never played a day there in his life. He was a TE freshman year, G Sophomore year. Now a WR, I'd be a real experience to play army these next two years.
Anyone we could do that with?

not sure the guy would have a chance to get off the line of scrimmage since they probably have a 6'1" 190 pound converted wide receiver at left guard?Zyme wrote:http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.d ... /903310322.

Army must have one hell of a team!

Other teams could send out a reserve/or starting DE do cover him...
Maybe they are trying some goal-line ideas? Funny stuff!

I have a hard time seeing that work, 6'10 300 is just rediculous.

It would be easy to cover him with a linebacker. Just jam him at the line and watch him squirm to get downfield.

Very true, above I was thinking of a size match up but after I thought about it (posting it) a LB would do a much better job!
