"The first practice in pads of camp is complete (remember the full team has yet to arrive), and the early star is cornerback Cliff Harris, a rookie free agent out of Oregon who had at least two interceptions (see highlights and lowlights).

For one, Trent Edwards went deep down the sideline to receiver Elvis Akpla, an undrafted rookie out of Montana State, but Akpla deflected the pass and Harris showed good body control to come down with the juggling interception."

Wasn't Cliff drafted? What round was he drafted in?

nope. Hope he makes the most of his chance, and has learned from his past mistakes. All he has to do is look at what Detroit did today, cutting their young corner (who was also undrafted because of off the field issues) who was slated to start this year. Undrafted players have a much shorter leash.

He transferred to Montana St. and had the best catch in college football last year.
