Could be a good change of pace for RB.

Really fits their scheme and play-style. Good pick-up, Tigers.

I have mixed feelings. We need a quality back-up for Mett, last year when we played y’all if Lee went down with an injury we would have thrown Spencer Ware (our RB) in there and rand an all option, short pass offence.

This year we are just as thin, all of the backups are FR or Redshirt FR. So it is nice getting a guy that has some playing experience in a big conference.

I was really getting excited about thinning the option out and going back to the pro style and solidifying the position with one QB. Something we have not had since ’07 and Flynn. My concern is that with Bolden in the mix we are going back to a two QB system with a heavy option play with the leg guy. Still, I suppose the good of having another back-up far outweighs my concerns.

As long as we win and get back in the Natty, I’ll be happy.

OK I am going to be a nancy here, but I don't get why LSU would be interested. He was, to quote Charles Barkley, horriawful at Penn State. If he can't succeed playing against Big-10 teams, why would we think he could succeed against SEC D? I understand he provides some depth in the sense that he has played in some big venues and big games, so he shouldn't be intimidated by playing in front of 80,000+, but he just was plain awful in those games.

I'm very impressed by his 2:7 td/int ratio

They have better spread packages for him at LSU. Just have him run around like Jordan Jefferson.

That and, according to the article, Kragthorpe at LSU has a good track record working with QBs.

Jerrard Randall and the other young QB's on the roster must be pissed. Bolden is a talented kid, but Penn State wasn't a good fit for him. LSU should be better, but they still run the ball a ton.

With 6 running backs that could all be starters on any other SEC team, and a big front it is hard for Les not to run the ball. I expect a lot of play action this year, we have a QB that is dying to prove himself and some hungry WR.

oooooo.....you think me foolish for that statement do you? You laugh cause you just don't know!

"Any other" was a bit strong considering Lacy and Lattimore are in the mix...BUT....Spencer Ware, Michael Ford, Alfred Blue, Kenny Hillard and Tarrance Magee Jeremy Hill are all of "feature" back quality. Hillard has Heisman potential but do to the large stable of backs he will never get enough touches while at LSU.

I like LSU's stable, but your comment was overzealous (and you already caught yourself).
