To/too/two and there/their/they're are probably my biggest pet peeves when it comes to the English language.

I went to the store. There the humorous cashier was just too much to take. I couldn't stop laughing while I bought my two containers of ice cream.

Reaching for the magazines was tough as they were way over there behind the spinning rack. That dang thing didn't want to swivel for me. The store clerk said that it was a policy of their store manager that he had wanted that rack placed just so. I asked why and the clerk whispered in my ear about his superiors. "They have no idea what they're doing." I laughed and pointed to an empty spot near a short isle. "Why don't they move their magazine rack over there?" He just shrugged and chuckled.

Punctuation
"A woman, without her man, is nothing." And "A woman: without her, man is nothing."
Also
"Stop clubbing, baby seals." And "Stop clubbing baby seals."

Two totally different messages in each example

I like the image of seals potentially out clubbing. They stayed out past curfew!

You can't type this one, but "She has a pimple on her but she is nice" works too, lol.

Using the word "irregardless"

One of my wife's biggest pet peeves is the overuse of the words juxtapose, juxtaposed, and juxtaposition by the media. The funniest part about that is that when she told me this, a few moments later College Gameday announcers used it several times. These words always seem to get used during local and national news as well by any announcer looking to sound smart. Juxta-anything is a word that never has to be used and really doesn't need to substitute standard words. These are words only used for showmanship, and often used incorrectly to boot. The Palmer who announces (I think Jesse?) uses it regularly.

A lot is two words.

ATM machine is redundant.

You're driving your own car.

Funner/funnest and especially "most funnest" are not correct.

The 'CMA Country Music Awards' ads are always annoying and redundant, when you think about what the CMA stands for.
Failing to cap. the letter 'I' when talking about yourself.

The Oxford comma. The hookers, Stalin and hitler came over for dinner. The hookers, Stalin, and hitler came over for dinner.

Was and were. If I were there... When I was there...
