SJ giving the trees a game, 10-17....in the 3rd quarter. Stanford looking incredibly mediocre, just like i thought they would be after Luck left.

They still have a few great players but are not yet a great team. I can't see them keeping up with us with their offense. I think Skov and Thomas will hold us down a few times though to at least make it interesting

Agreed. I was always baffled when i saw people say that they were going to give us a run for our money in the North. I'm still not even sold on Shaw. I think Luck was more of the coach than he was last year.

Sjsu is about the same as ark state. Improved, should fight for a bowl.

Can't read too much into the first game of the season, good or bad.

I've had my suspicions about Shaw as a HC, and it seems I might be right. He's no Jim, and don't bet against them returning to 7-8 wins a year here soon, no matter how good they recruit.

They're really young on the offensive line and it was the first start for the qb. Expect them to get better as the season progresses.

he had the stupidest challenge I've seen. Blew his last timeout and only challenge in an attempt to save three yards on second down on sjsus side of the field with the lead.
