I added mention of this game since I suspected that Michigan was over-hyped, and this seemed to confirm it. I realize that 'Bama is probably one of the top few teams in the country, but they really dominated a team ranked #8. It seems to demonstrate again that the media tends to be so ready to embrace the return of a "traditional power" to top-shelf status when it really isn't warranted. And yes -- I'm wondering(/hoping?) if it will turn out that USC will fall (double-entendre intended) into a similar category this year . . .

I knew Michigan was stupidly overhyped coming into the season. This just confirmed that. Was not surprised by the outcome one bit.

No Kidding, Michigan is extremely overrated. But really, after the top 5, I don't really see anyone else deserving to be in the top 10.
