Just realized he's starting at tackle for Miss St. Committed to cal out of HS, #1 player in state of OR a few years back

i never understood the siddoway love. ever. all i saw was a kid playing in a super weak 4A league through his junior year, where he was often getting beat by 5'9, 180 pound defensive ends from pleasant hill and junction city. and he was incredibly unimpressive in his one year at sheldon, doing his part to help the irish to their worst season since the late 1990s. but the scouts loved him. i may not know anything about anything, but that was a very strange recruitment.

The UO coaches didn't see anything in him either in HS. Good to see he has worked his butt off though and is contributing at MSU.
