I'd say . . .

1. Bama. Not only do they deserve it for their play on the field, they are the defending champs. So there's that.

2-4. Oregon, WVU and SC. The WVU offense is really, really good. Not sure SC is really a contender out of SEC East, but they absolutely demolished Georgia. Still not sure if Oregon has the horses on the line to run against the Bama D-line or stuff their offensive line if they need to. Hope we get to find out.

5-7. Florida, K State, Ohio State. OSU isn't eligible, but their offense lost the conservative sweater vest mentality and their defense stayed the same. Not eligible for post season, but a damn good team. Haven't watched much K State so I'm going off the love the media is giving them. As for Florida, they beat LSU, but only because LSU sucks on offense. 14 points, even against LSU, not really impressive.

8. Notre Dame. Loath the school, but they may have finally put it together. We'll know a lot more after Stanford on Saturday. Go Furd!

9-14. Expect OSU to fall apart in weeks to come without Mannion. Struggled against WSU. Love the Beavers, but see the cinderella season turning into a pumpkin. Miss State might be the best of the bunch having to play in the SEC. Don't know much about Rutgers, Cinci, Louisville, but La Tech is my darkhorse pony for BCS buster just because I like underdogs.
