from #62 overall to #31 (#4 SF)

espn rankings may not be as good as rivals/scout (IMO) but seeing him on the move up in any rankings is a great sign

That's pretty impressive. Wilson is a big time recruit.

April 15th is the first day he can sign.

If I remember correctly Wilson was a top 40 player going into the Summer of his Junior year, which happens to be the key year for recruits to climb or fall in the rankings. He got hurt going into the summer and thus his ranking dropped. Very good player.

Today's write-up from the Red Guard:

http://www.registerguard.com/csp/cms/si ... /story.csp

"Wilson remains committed to Oregon"

Jamil Wilson said he will sign his letter of intent with Oregon early Wednesday before he departs for New York to play Saturday in an all-star basketball game in Madison Square Garden.

“I explained to them I wasn’t changing” the commitment, “and they said ‘are you sure?’” Wilson said Monday. “I told them it was like when you make a commitment to someone who is going to be your wife. You don’t cheat on them.”

“I think it’s going to be an adventure,” Wilson told the Racine newspaper. “I’m not expecting an NCAA title right off the bat but if you put enough hard work into a project, eventually it comes out with an A.”
