South Carolina tied with powerhouse Wofford at half
Interesting to see hif the media makes Wofford a "sleeper" team that could easily compete in any other conference after the first half. They are on track to put up well over 250 yards against a great SEC defense....

The media will justify it somehow, someway. Just like how UF almost losing last week was somehow turned into it showing their mental toughness, resiliency and will to fight for the win. Ducks win by 42 over Cal and all you hear is how Cal stuck with us for the first half and 'held us' the 180 yards rushing.

What gets me about the Florida game vs. Louisiana Lafayette, is that they barely won and didn't drop in the computer rankings. I checked out the Sagarin ratings for Lou Laf, and inexplicably, they were ranked #58 in the nation before today. Arkansas State who is also in their conference, and beat them by 20 some points, and has a better record was only #62. I don't get it.Duck24 wrote:The media will justify it somehow, someway. These games don't surprise me... the gap between the upper level FCS teams & mid tier FBS teams has been narrowing for quite some time now. I guarantee that Georgia & South Carolina were underestimating these teams & now they're in the locker rooms putting together game plans to stop the upset.
