If Barkley was playing, I would have some faith that USC would win. REALLY doubt they win with a backup.

If Furd can beat us with an 'almost' backup , SC has a shot - especially if he can throw anywhere near Lee and Woods. If SC gets pac-12 refs it should increase their odds as well.

This^^ Max had thrown, what? 7 or so passes before being thrown in last week? Honestly don't think SC has much of a chance.

I guess a silver lining in the great disappointment (at least if the Ducks have beaten the Beavers earlier in the day) of a USC defeat would be the laughability of a 7-5 Trojan regular season in what was supposed to be a return to glory. At some point recruits are going to have to start seeing through Kiffin, that he really isn't a very good coach.

Is SC with a back up better than Pitt? Just saying.

I saw on sportscenter that chip texted kiffin saying they were gonna win. This witteck kid is gonna be a stud. He has been battling blue chip recruit Cody Kessler (#71 in the nation according to rivals) ever since they came into usc together two years ago. He's had two years to learn the system. USC QBS are always studs and notre dame has no film on him which is always an advantage. Win or loose I bet he has a great game.

I am pulling for USC big time as I would love to hear Lou Holtz and Mike Golic looking for excuses but it will take a miracle. USC struggles against spread O's with mobile QB's which doesn't bode well in this game. Monte Kiffin will need his boys to play out of their minds today, force a few turnovers and give the offense a short field. I'm hopeful but wouldn't put a large wager on it. Either way....Fight On!
