Are the four best RBs from the Pac-12?

Was thinking about it, and our conference might have the top 4 RBs in the nation.

Barner, Carey, and Taylor are no doubt among the best. Throw in Franklin too who is right behind Barner in yards per game. I think you can make an argument for the RB from Nevada, but easier competition. Ball gets so many carries, anyone would have his amount of yardage. Bernard is a pretty good back, but he was injured for 2 games.

Sure he is, but it helps when you run the ball 300+ times. Give the rock 300+ times to 60% of BCS school's starting RB and he'll have a similar output to what Ball did.

ESPN Heisman watch has 3 RBs getting votes, Barner, Taylor, and Carey. No others.

Gio Bernard would have put up similar or better #s than each of the RBs at the 4 P12 schools imho.

I tend to agree with this statement, but from the outputs we've seen this year, I don't think it's too crazy to say 4 Pac-12 RBs had probably the best year compared to the rest of the world.

I also think Mark from NW will blow up next season and be a Heisman candidate. Dude reminds me a lot of DeAnthony with less explosiveness, but a better ability to break tackles.

I really doubt Barner would put up similar numbers if he was playing for Wisconsin. I haven't seen enough of Taylor or Carey to say though.
