There are some rumblings that Arkansas is offering a million more a year than Les is making at LSU to come there....

Bobby Petrino: Like him or not, the guy can coach and recruit at a high level. He may end up somewhere else in the SEC anyway.
Bo Pellini: Former LSU assistant. Not real impressed with Bo. Good coach, but not great. It seems like he should be doing better at a school with a history like Nebraska. Especially since they've moved into a weaker conference. He may be in the Big-10 championship game, but he could also easily have had 4 losses if he'd played a Big-12 schedule. His sideline temperament is eerily similar to Mike Stoops too. Ugh.
Gary Crowton: A lot of people at LSU (and Oregon) weren't impressed with Crowton as their offensive coordinator. Still, he helped LSU win the NC while he was there. He also had a 12-0 season when he was the head coach at BYU.
Bob Stoops: His name comes up every time a big time program needs a new coach. Still, I don't see him leaving Oklahoma.
Of course, this is all just talk. I'm sure LSU is scrambling to up the ante to keep Les as we speak. Still, you have to wonder how high they'd be willing to go?

Still don't get why this is even a story. Miles would literally be the dumbest coach ever if he left LSU. I get the more money thing, but my god lol. Go from a team that was in the natty last year to a team coming off a dumpster fire of a season. The day he goes to Arky is the day we pull Meyer from Ohio State if Chip leaves.

Arkansas has a lot of talent. Petrino recruited some good young players there. They were 10-2 and in a BCS Bowl two years ago. The main reason they stunk it up this year is because of John L. Smith. Les Miles could take that talent and 1-2 recruiting classes and win the SEC. I'm not saying he "will", I'm just saying he "could".

Arkansas thinks way to much of themselves and where the stand in the football universe. Why would a guy leave LSU for Ark? That's just a stupid move, like if Kelly went to Arizona.
