Primedime, do you have any info about Jean? Is he a good player that just gets lost in all the talent or will he be a legitimate highly-ranked player?

Nate know's a little about Jean hopefully he can provide some insight.

Last season, Jr DB Peniel Jean was listed as Honorable mention in the Palm Beach Post high school football large-school All-Area defense squad.

Only 2 juniors ranked on the first or second team. All other higher ranked DBs were seniors.

When Banning High School (Banning, Ca.) football player Derron Smith was named "most valuable defensive back" at the National Underclassmen Elite 100 football combine held July 6th at the Home Depot Center in Carson, it was a well known fact that his stock would rise dramatically.

Smith has since been rated the number three (Class of 2010) cornerback prospect in the nation by the ULT 100 behind Peniel Jean of Palm Beach Florida and Khiry McQuay of Hillsborough Florida.

i never said he had the offer. i said that peniel was contacted by coach neal and sirmon within this last week. from the looks of things, i would suspect that peniel will get that offer he's dreaming about. he really wants to become a duck! he sent his second set of film in about two weeks ago for the coaches to look at. it appears that the coaches have looked through it and have just now contacted him. i think he WILL get the offer within this next month...

Anyone have any new information on Peniel? Did he get the Oregon offer yet?
