Please tell me this is NOT real. Oh my gosh.....what are they thinking? I understand trying to simplify the busy one on the left, but to go with a kindergarten C? Really?

I guess there's something genius about it, right?

Looks like they tried to copy the Colorado state flag, but failed miserably.

He just took the loading symbol on chrome and turned it yellow.

The 'C' symbolizes their Football team - it totally falls apart and disappears in the 2nd half.

Did Maynard design it in honor of his half-bro? Or maybe it was in honor of the success of the tandem recruiting system... Or not.

The logo is for the entire University of California system (UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Berekely, UCLA, etc.), and was introduced in September. Part of the argument for the new look is the old seal didn't reproduce well on smaller digital devices.

Not very attractive. I get the book reference at the top but that's stolen from Scholastic & even the font is from there as well (storia). The second I saw it, kindergarten.
