Maybe Alex Smith deserves a shot here Kapernick(sp?) is struggling and yes the officials suck with their terrible calls on both sides

If SF starts jerking the QB around, you have no hope in the playoffs. Stick with Kap even if he struggles.

that flag on kam was the most ridiculous call i've seen since wilson's game winning interception against the packers a few months back. it was amazing how three officials all blew a call where kam came nowhere near making contact with davis' helmet.
but that was one amazing half of football. hawks are playing as well as anyone in the nfl the last 6 weeks. hope they don't blow their wad before the playoffs.

Sports illustrated just had an article saying that the packers call was arguably the correct one.oregontrack wrote:that flag on kam was the most ridiculous call i've seen since wilson's game winning interception against the packers a few months back. it was amazing how three officials all blew a call where kam came nowhere near making contact with davis' helmet.

That defenseless receiver/player call is ruining defense. Ed Reed had a very similar hit on Victor Cruz in the NYG-Bal game and was also flagged. You aren't allowed to separate the ball from the receiver with a hit it seems. I understand why the rule was made (see the James Harrison hit on Massaquoi from the Browns or Dunta Robinson on De'Sean Jackson) but that rule has turned into, if it is a big hit and looks like it hurt, the receiver was defenseless. Sean Taylor is probably rolling over in his grave.oregontrack wrote:that flag on kam was the most ridiculous call i've seen since wilson's game winning interception against the packers a few months back. it was amazing how three officials all blew a call where kam came nowhere near making contact with davis' helmet.

Against either the east champ on the road or the north runner-up in clink? I doubt it. The Falcons/Packers are about the only teams in the nfc that look like they could put up points against Seattle's D.DAT#6 wrote: They will lose in the first round like usual.

Did Seattle lose in the first round last time they got into the playoffs?
