Lake O should win it all, but there's some solid teams there. Westivew lost to West Linn the round before the final 8, so there goes my school.

My school David Douglas pulled an upset in the first round and came up just short in the second round of another one

Go North Valley Knights. My kid's school, is undefeated 25-0 and plays La Salle in the semifinal Thursday.

lake o beat jesuit twice earlier this year (jesuit's only losses this season), but lake o has an uncanny ability to come up short in big situations across all sports. i would not put it past jesuit to win their 5th straight 6A title.
for a local flavor, churchill is rolling in 5A. they're into the semifinals.

Got all my picks in the first round right. I'm a little worried CC won't beat Jesuit, but I remain cautiously hopeful.

lake o and jesuit, the two favorites, both go down in the semifinals. west linn vs. central catholic for the title tonight.
in 5A, churchill will play jefferson on the boy's side, and springfield goes for a 3-peat against willamette on the girls. strong MWL representation in 5A, at least.

West Linn ftw, super impressed with their play throughout the tournament. They certainly earned it.

I was at the Rose Garden for the 2 semifinal games. Pretty entertaining especially with them both being upsets. I went to the a day of the Les Schwab invite earlier this season & the semifinals teams advanced in it. Pretty shocked that LO lost, it felt like they were going to eventually pull ahead the whole game but never could. West Linns frosh PG is a baller though.
