Surprised to not have seen this posted yet...  Yes, they certainly have an Oregon problem, along with a few others.

Not to downplay what we've done lately but we didn't even win the division last year. There is another great team in Stanford they gotta top also.

Is Keith Price seriously still around? Man after last year, I just don't see them doing much. Their Oline is miserable, good luck sark.

Like luke said too, even if they some how miraculously beat us this year in their dog kennel, I still don't see them topping Stanford or us in the standings. They are not built for a full season. 8-9 wins at best.

I love that the mighty Huskies are satisfied with slight improvements, with very little hope of really arriving anytime soon. What a change.

I read a great post by a Husky last year when he admitted that reality had finally set in. He said he was at Autzen for the Oregon game last year and experience very little hassling. It finally occurred to him that we view them as fairly irrelevant in terms of a serious challenge. Nine straight years of beat-downs will do that, and they are finally realizing their new place. The guy's post was great. He likened the feeling to how it must feel to be a Wazzu fan and said the reality of what Washington really is now was harder to take than being hassled by Duck fans. He mentioned that most were actually pretty nice to him and that just drove the point home.

Off-season champs again? Damn, them Fuskies are really good when there are no actual football games being played.

To be fair, it wasn't long ago that us duck fans were in the same place. All it takes is some motivation, a big win for momentum, and the players to believe they can beat anyone to turn things around. What is Sark suppose to say "we don't have a shot this year, or the next, or the year after that, oh well." That's not going to draw in recruits nor is it going to motivate his players.

We all hate the huskies, but it would be best for the conference and Oregon if they returned to being a top 15 team.

Yeah, I fail to see the upside of that.

The PAC12 really isn't that strong of a conference right now, outside of stanford and Oregon, and the level of competition needs to improve. It doesn't necessarily have to be Washington, but they are a team that Oregon plays on a yearly basis and would add a high profile win if they got back into the rankings. Them and Oregon state are the closest to becoming upper ranked teams in the north division, so take your pick.
