As a big Peyton Manning fan I'm very happy to get him, but also take away from pats.

It's so amazing how well he does in the NFL. Gotta love the little guy being a hot commodity. Nice for broncos.

I don't know why people are upset the Pats didn't want him. He was a product of their system, and who better to know that then them?

Manning doesn't seem to be able to throw deep any longer and a guy like Welker can be a nice addition.

Looks like the Pats had already made a decision before Broncos even signed Welker.... Amendola is younger, a bit faster, and arguably has better hands then Wes.

i think brady got really tired of welker's drops. a weird thing to say considering the volume of balls thrown his way and the amount of catches he did make, but he had some pretty bad butterfingers in some really tight moments. amendola is a nice replacement if he can ever stay healthy.

i don't know the pat's cap structure, but i was surprised to see them ditch brandon lloyd yesterday. he had a very nice season for them. maybe he was just owed too much $$.

With Amendola you might could consider him "injury prone" but, honestly the injuries he did have could be considers "freak" injuries. As for Lloyd he had a "decent" season at best. We brought him in as a down-field threat and he really didn't get open that much while going down the field. We owed him 3mil and there was rumors going around that we were talking about a restructure but I guess it never happen.

Also talk that we offered Emmanuel Sanders from the Steelers an offer and that might just be a diamond in the rough and a better choice then Lloyd.
