Responding to speculation he's a candidate for several NFL head coaching jobs, Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh released a statement late Tuesday saying, "I would like to unequivocally state that I am 100 percent committed to Stanford and I look forward to leading this football program for years to come."

It concluded, "I have no desire to coach anywhere besides Stanford at this time."

What are your thoughts?

He will only stay another year or two until a good NFL coaching job becomes available.

The sooner he leaves, the better for us. He will turn Stanford into a good football program soon.

Damn. I was really hoping for him to leave so we could continue to punch stanford around. One of the first duck games that really stuck in my head was when Stanford ruined our perfect season with Joey. They had that tall WR that just killed us. I was about 7 probably, never will forget that. One of my first duck games i watched. I hate the idea of stanford being good.

The only good that comes from Harbaugh is a decent football program which is not good news to duck fans.

Stanford is suppose to be smart, Noe good at football, WTF??

While he says that he is committed to Stanford, he still hasn't signed an extentsion, which is more telling. Anyways he will be gone sooner rather than later.
