From Adam Jude's husky practice report yesterday....

A few minutes later, during an 11-on-11 goal-line drill, 327-pound DT Danny Shelton knocked down Keith Price (wearing a no-contact yellow jersey) on a quarterback keeper; Shelton appeared to knock his helmet into Price’s right knee. Price popped right up and appeared to be OK, but coachSteve Sarkisian — standing in the middle of the field at about the 20-yard line — threw off his visor and fell onto his back in disgust.

Practice ended immediately. Sarkisian quickly left the field and said no one would be available for interviews.

HAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Yea, I saw that last night and got a good laugh about it. All this time I was under the impression that a coach is supposed to know how to keep his composure...

Maybe the title should have been, "Fuskies are ridiculously pathetic"? (Or is that "Pathetically Ridiculous"?)

What is so humorous to me about the Husky football program right now is how they are -- even while so many UW fans want to deny it to the hilt -- actually following the Ducks in so many ways, right down to their hurry-up offense. Some Husky fans do realize it, and it rankles them to no end. Here's a Jude post, and then read the comments.

This is from the article to show
During some practice situations, particularly in 7-on-7 drills that exclude linemen, UW senior quarterback Keith Price has been getting the snap within about 15 seconds after the end of the previous play. “Warp speed,” offensive-line coach Dan Cozzetto said.
Now, keep in mind that they also said that its the same offense so nobody has to worry about learning new concepts or anything.

Here's how things looked in Philly
On the very first full day of training camp back on July 26th, I timed the Eagles' hurry-up session, from the whistle on one play until the time the offense was legally set on the next. The times that day, in seconds: 13.7, 12.4, 9.8, 12.7, 13.3, 15.4, 9.8, 11.7. That was an average of 12.35 seconds, which was very impressive for the first day of camp. 23 days later, the Eagles' hurry-up in practice is faster. During those same drills today, I timed them at an average closer to around 10 seconds

I think what this all means is that the Poodles can go as fast as they want but they can't go ludicrous speed.
