Hollins for $1MM/yr is a ridiculous bargain.

Would have been fun to see him and Thibs bookend their D-line.

What a lame article that really didn't include anything of note.Weston wrote:Payday coming: https://www.oregonlive.com/sports/2023/ ... ually.html
The biggest question isn't the 50M, its how much of his contract is guaranteed and you have Lamar, Burrow and Herbert all in the position of signing for a long-term deal and who goes first and how that might impact the others.
The Spanos are likely going to have to put 250M+ (I'd venture even 400M if its a 10/500M type deal) into escrow once he does sign. Biscotti is in the Top 15 of wealthiest NFL owners for the Ravens but the Bengals are near the bottom and Spanos is known for being cheap with his bologna sandwiches.
The Sheldon Fishing Club is about to receive a large endowment, lol!

Who would have bet two years ago that a lb from WSU would be a better nfl prospect than Sewell and Flow?

I left Sala out, who actually I've seen in the late 3rd to 5th range. He tested very well and from a few reports he'll kick inside to Guard.

Noah has taken a beating in draft grades. I’m curious where he lands.

There has been some rumors about him being a 'me' guy and I wonder if that showed up in some of the interviews/meetings he had with teams.buckmarkduck wrote:Noah has taken a beating in draft grades. I’m curious where he lands.

Well as far as most public draft grades go, unless there are known problems like with Jalen Carter, those kinds of things typically aren't effecting a players draft grade.lmduck wrote:There has been some rumors about him being a 'me' guy and I wonder if that showed up in some of the interviews/meetings he had with teams.buckmarkduck wrote:Noah has taken a beating in draft grades. Where he's hurt as a prospect is that he's never developed good coverage skills and his "guessing" and going off-assignment at times has also led to big gains against the Defense from being out of position.
Physically he's still very gifted, can rush the passer and plays with aggression so you know you're getting someone who loves the game but I also think he needs to go to a team that will employ him in that dual type role of ILB on early downs and situational pass-rusher on passing downs while he develops. (The Chargers certainly fit that need of a ILB who can back-up at Edge; perhaps Kendricks can impart the necessary wisdom to learn to cover along with the new LB coach).
