This was an entertaining game won by the Buffs, 41-27. Really, if it weren't for some ineffectiveness by the Buff punt and kickoff teams, this could have easily been a Buff rout.
Definitely pleased with the outcome for the conference's sake. But Colorado looks like a VASTLY improved football team from last season. It's possible, noting also the performances of WSU and Cal in losing efforts yesterday, that there won't be any cakewalk games for anyone in the Pac-12 this season. (And that includes the Beavers, the only real disappointment in the conference this weekend, as I think we've learned from past years that we can bury them too quickly after some early season mediocrity.)

I agree completely about burying the Beavers after the slow start. This is Blueprint Riley, they do it every year. They will be back and smacking Cal around in no time.

Wood is a respectable QB, and when you have a tool like Richardson to utilize, you compete.
I think Colorado will win 6 games this year. Book it.
