Great. That guy is a major stud and I can't wait to watch him at the O. Anxious to see what you've got...Mops wrote:I got a chance to talk with 2010 commit Curtis White today and I left very impressed, even more so than what I knew before we talked. I will spill more later when Im not on my phone.

Great write up mops.
Curtis White is a freak, I can't wait to have him on our team. Landing in-state talent always makes me extremely happy.

if his 40 time is legit, I'd love to have a 6'5'' 250lb LB.

It's always a good feeling when the state of Oregon has a rare top level recruit & the Ducks already got him locked up. Good stuff.

I vaguely remember the name as he was one of only recruits so far for 2010 if not the only one. I know people describe him to be a stud but given fact Oregon does not usually sign juniors how high do you think this guy will be ranked next year.

I'm curious as to why Oregon is looking at him as a tight end. Isn't DE more of a position of need?

We're getting three in this class and no TE's. And next year we lose Dickson.

Yeah, but don't we have Rivera, Paulson, Jordan and Ward already?

I think Jordan is moving out to WR (maybe?), but yeah both are pretty deep. But still, you usually can't skip a position for two straight classes.duckgrad99 wrote:Yeah, but don't we have Rivera, Paulson, Jordan and Ward already?

Malachi Lews and NaDerris Ward will both be seniors, Paulson a junior, and Rivera will be a sophomore by the time Curtis gets here as a true freshman. I believe Dion Jordan is a Wide Receiver.duckgrad99 wrote:Yeah, but don't we have Rivera, Paulson, Jordan and Ward already?

Re: Curtis White Update With Story
White is a 4* on Scout's network and is listed in the top 250 to watch for Rivals. He will most likely be a 4* as well on Rivals. There is talk if he would camp at these combines and do well he has the potential to be rated a 5*, however I dont see it happening.GoDucksIn09 wrote:I vaguely remember the name as he was one of only recruits so far for 2010 if not the only one. White is a straight up stud! It's good to know that we do have those kind of athletes in Oregon that want to be Ducks!
