Well Masoli still has a lot to prove on his passing game. His height definitely makes it harder on him.woundedknees wrote:And how tall is Jeremiah Masoli?
Nebraska lock at this point. Could change with a visit but he may commit very soon. I'm not sure if he will take trips if he commits.UOducksTK1 wrote:By default, I'd assume Missouri is the team to beat. However, he mentioned that his brother is at Missouri and could take all the playing time if he goes there. I wonder if that'll be a big factor when he decides?
Thanks, Oracle. I've heard Gabbert's name tossed around here, but I didn't think we'd crack his top 5.Oracle wrote:Nebraska lock at this point. Could change with a visit but he may commit very soon. You seem pretty optimistic. It's starting to look like we jacked around for too long with all of our eggs In the Robert Bolden basket. He's all Sparty, Gabbert isn't coming, Munchie sounds like he wants to stay in the south and i doubt Scroggins' dad will let him end up here.tonyd wrote:Agreed.Oracle wrote:UOducksTK1 wrote:By default, I'd assume Missouri is the team to beat. Oregon WILL land a top QB this year, mark it down so even if he does commit to NU, no biggie.
Brunetti and Broadway are still in play. Oregon should get visits from all QB's mentioned and one will see the light.

Hopefully I'm wrong on one of those or somebody else emerges. Brunetti maybe???
Also, people forget that he's a JUNIOR in high school right now and may not be done growing. I grew 3 or 4 inches between the end of my junior year of high school and the begining of my freshman year of college.Quietduck wrote:I'm not sure 6' 1" is that short for a QB. I know everyone wants a 6' 4" or taller QB, but considering every defensive and offensive lineman seems to be graded on how they keep their pads low when blocking or attacking it seems a bit over done. Yes, as the play breaks down everyone will be standing up and it will be harder to see but by then it seems two things will have happened, either the ball is gone or there are big gaps in the formation to pass through. I might be wrong but I would rather grade a QB on his arm and his football smarts rather than how close he comes to Dan McGuire (6' 8", cannon arm, NFL Flop)
