Through 3 MLB draft rounds-No Braxton pick

MLB will select again today, but Braxton has not been selected and thus, his signing bonus will likely not be enough to sway him. HOPEFULLY. Usually after second round signing bonuses are fairly small.(respectively)

Drafted in mid-7th round by Texas with pick #214 overall.

This is a wee off topic but did Jeff Samardzija really get a 7.25 million dollar signing bonus, even though he was picked in the 5th round? Ive never followed the MLB draft before, is it kind of like the NBA draft where a player doesnt lose his am. status until he signs an agent?

Braxton Lane picked in the 7th round, I guess this is good news for us...
