That sucks. I think it's a bad decision on his part. He likely would have been a top pick had he waited a year. So who is most likely to start in his place?

Can he test the waters like ncaa basketball players can? Meaning put his name in but then decide its not worth it than come back?

heres list of our depth in db/cb

CB/DB
-Jairus Byrd Sr (NFL?)
-Walter Thurmond SR
-Talmadge Jackson III SR?
-Chad Peppars JR
-Anthony Gildon JR
-Willie Glasper
-Javes Lewis RS FR?
-Will Wallace RS FR in 08
-Kejon Barner RS FR in 08
-Scott Grady RS FR in O8
-Pono Kam SR did he RS at all?
-Avery Patterson Verbal commit to Oregon

SO i think its Jackson III/Gildon/Lewis gonna complete for starting spot

As long as Bryd is a first day guy, you really can't fault him. His stock won't get much higher and his dad will be able to provide a great deal of assistance.

With Bryd leaving, Rudell Crim just become that much bigger of a recruit.

He could pull a P-Chung and change his mind at the last minute.

I disagree. There are several CB's ahead of him this year, where as several reports had him as the #2 CB in 2010. If he is smart, he will pull a Patrick Chung.

Wow I didn't see this coming!

There will be a learning curve but we will be okay! I see a battle between Crim, TJIII and Gilden...

So I guess hello Rudell Crim and Harris!

Maybe Harris commits and starts right away. I've heard he is the best cover corner out there!!!!
