Quarterback Robert Bolden Selects Penn State

"and suddenly, Penn State has a roster full of quarterbacks with pretty similar styles. Clearly, the Spread HD (?) is here to stay, and it's time to give a little more credit to your favorite quarterback coach."
The Spread HD???
When Penn State starts consistently putting up Oregonesque numbers on offense, that appelation will still be laughable!

A few years ago, it seemed that Penn State just couldn't win with its quarterback recruiting.
Now, it just seems too good to be true.
Orchard Lakes (Mich.) St. Mary's four-star signal-caller Robert Bolden added to the Nittany Lions' haul on Friday morning, when he selected Penn State over Louisville and Oregon in a 9:30 a.m. press conference. He joins Rivals100 quarterback Paul Jones in one of the nation's most formidable quarterback classes. Freshman gunslinger Kevin Newsome, a four-star prospect last year, is also waiting in the wings.
"With all that, the quarterback situation as well as the academic part of it, I felt like I could go ahead and make that choice. I felt comfortable enough to do it."
(It really is hard to believe that PSU, who already has Newsome, has picked up commits from both Bolden and Paul Jones, this season... And Oregon (Poor little backwater Oregon?), the quintessential example of what a well run spread can do, is once again on the outside looking in. I realize Bolden could still visit/change his mind, but the odds of that a verry slim. Amazing what living on campus for nearly a week can do to a kid's thought process, isn't it?)

"They're the only school in the country I see to have two four-star quarterbacks in this class," said Mike Farrell of Rivals.com., who added that Georgia accomplished the recruiting coup last year.
OK... Munchie/Gonzalez/Broadway, anyone?
