Ducks still have a chance with OWA

I also read that Owa is close to becoming a 5 star recruit

The Ducks have seemed to be on the outside looking in for the Portland native, but all hope is not lost for Duck fans. "Recruiting by Oregon is going good. The Oregon coaches are cool. I wasn't considering Oregon at first. But after talking to the coaches, I am really considering them now. I didn't give the new coaching staff a chance. There is a new D-line and head coach. I want to see how the new staff does. I want to give them a chance to recruit me."

Odighizuwa has maintained contact with Oregon. "I called Coach Azzinaro yesterday as he was coming home from Maine. I don't think Oregon is recruiting me that hard at this time because a lot of the coaching staff is on vacation with their family."

This top rated recruit went on to tell us what he likes about the Duck program. "The Oregon facilities really raise your eyebrow, but the facilities won't be a major factor in my decision. I plan on majoring in business, and Oregon has a good business program."

Owa will make a very good OLB in college, especially in a 3-4. Oregon's not out of it yet.

This is good news. He has always been one of the recruits would really enjoy getting. Mostly because he is from Oregon and feel need to get the top talent from own state. Secondly I would just love hearing on regular basis people trying to pronounce his name. The guy is a total stud. I still see him going to USC. I have one minor question though. Didn't he already give his list of 5 official visits. If am right.. that means Oregon would have to be an unofficial visit. Granted in same state so not that hard.. but how would that work for Oregon. I think we could still just call him O Squared.

"Florida, Oregon State, USC, UCLA, Nebraska, and Cal are recruiting me hard. Some of my top choices are Florida, Oregon State, USC, Oregon, Cal and UCLA not in any order. I could decide at the Army All American Game. I might commit at any time if I like the school. I plan on taking a official visits to Florida, Cal, USC, and UCLA. I am working on a fifth."

I thought earlier on people were saying he wanted to major in Engineering... Maybe I'm thinking of somebody else. I coulda sworn it was Owa though. Anyway, good to see we're still in it for the homegrown product.

That's the excuse everyone uses when a stud in-state recruit is not considering Oregon, but is considering the Rats. It was Owa they were saying that about, though.

Surprisingly, OS(Phew) has some decently run business programs... A lot will depend on OhWoW's comfort level with the program he chooses, and the area of business he chooses to focus on.

sounds like maybe some of our coaches are better salesmen than we give them credit for. If they can pull this kid back away from the dark side it will be a great accomplishment.

Good point. It would definitely be a big accomplishment for the staff if they pulled this off.

Pretty much the same curriculum minus the sports marketing.

Final 7 are Cal, Florida, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, and USC. All except Oregon and OSU will get officials since he can visit us any time on his own accord.

Well I don't think he'll go to Neb, UCLA, or OSU
USC Cal and FLA will be damn near impossible to beat unless Curtis White does a helluva job personally recruiting him or we have a fabulous season.
