I would love to get this guy!

"In no particular order it's Oregon, USC, Oregon State, UCLA, Cal, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Michigan State, Washington and Utah," Heimuli said.

"There are about three schools that I want to visit for sure," Heimuli said. "Oregon, Oregon State and USC. I don't know about my other two so far. That's not a top five, it is just schools that I want to go check out.

I really hope we can land a few of these DT's. I personally feel like DT is one of the most important positions this recruiting class.

Sweet. Let's get him out here.

Funny how the water rodents are on the list. All big time schools...and OSU.

I always wonder when a prospect says something like "in no particular order" and then lists the speculated top and most likely destinations at the beginning of the list. Subconsciously I think they are still laying out some clues in the order.

Bring him in! :D
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Hopefully all this attention from D-line players means the energy level of Coach Azzinaro is having an impact. We need it.

Wow. 6'4" 280 and runs a 4.9. Sounds great although his bench is a little wimpy at 245, would have to get stronger in the upper body.

Please tell me that's what he reps, not what he max's...

I think Coach Radcliffe can fix that...

I believe that is what he reps not his max.

My max was in the 250 range, but I'm an over-weight 55 year old, and the doc who just repaired my shoulder said "Nuh-Uh, Nix-Nix!", cause I was wearing my labrum out.

Seriously, how many of the players Oregon had back in Brooks days could do 245 in HS? I'm sure that once the trainers get him on a proper diet and training program, this kid will explode.

If you're talking about maxing, probably almost all of them. If he's repping that, that's less of a problem though.

Actually that was the point I was trying to make.

In the Brooks years (And obviously earlier) there were few, if any players who were consistently able to put up the reps or max, that we tend to look for in the physical make-up of these kids.

Now, it's highly unusual to see a legit D-1 prospect who does reps with less than 200, especially a lineman.

Hope it's a misprint on the Max.

My old coach used to expect us to be able to rep our own weight at the beginning of camp... And that was HS in 1971.

That better be a misprint, In high school I was the backup QB and was maxing 250 at 5'9 185. That simply isn't strong enough to play DT effectively at the College level. I'm not saying its a problem that can't be fixed, because it can but it does mean that at whatever school he chooses to go to it will take longer for him to make an impact.
