Ok my thoughts on Mathis

So I was at practice for the 2nd day and there were rumors going around like crazy that he had committed.

Now, I think he might have, but he won't make it public I bet for a few weeks because he is still deciding if he wants to "officially" announce at an All-Star game or do it right before the season.

His parents looks really relaxed and had a good time at the two practices. As for him, he told me he loves Eugene and thinks its amazing. I am going to side with Mathis will be a Duck, but its just a matter of when.

Always good to hear "the parents" seem to be enjoying the trip, as well as the recruit... It has to make them feel more relaxed about sending their kid halfway across the country.

Sounds very good Mops. It would be awesome to get this guy and seemsfolks enjoyed the trip. I wonder how his mom feels now in regards to Michigan State in comparison to Oregon.

I do have one question somewhat off topic but not sure where to ask it. I am going to be in Eugene Wednesday and was wondering where practice is held. Is it held in Mo center.. or in Autzen.. or on the field adjacent to the Mo center. I do not know if will attend but if decide to would like to know where to be. Any idea if any recruits will be around?

Probably will depend on the weather, but I would check the grass practice/soccer field first, Autzen second.

I imagine the Mo center will be saved for inclement weather, and game prep that requires simulated conditions that can't be duplicated outdoors.

Chip Kelly said during Thursdays media day that the Ducks will probably be in Autzen for the 2 scrimmages the 15th and 25th and will otherwise workout at the practice fields and I assume bad weather will force them into the MO.
