Derrick Rose B- C- C+ C+ C A
Rose is definitely one of the best players in the draft. More of a scoring guard but has the ability to become a pure point. Not much of a 3 point shooter but his jump shot should develop over time. You won't have to worry about turnovers with the ball in his hands. A good rebounder for a point guard. Great upside.
Russell Westbrook C+ C- C B- C A
Amazing raw potential. Scouts think he should have stayed at college for another year to develop his jump shot. A lock down defender who could make a couple of All Defensive teams in his career. Great rebounder, could very well become a triple double machine. Amazing slasher who can get to the rim. Could be a turnover problem early in his career but scouts feel he can be very consistent with the ball in his hands.
Goran Dragic C C C+ C+ C- B
Risky pick. Despite playing overseas in Croatia, Goran has the ability to become a great point guard. A pure first pass guard who can knock down the 3 ball. Nicknamed "the Dragon" because of his ability to install fear into his opponent.
George Hill C C C C+ D+ A
Good potential. Great at stealing the ball. Very balanced, will need time to develop. Could be a solid starter in the future.
Mario Chalmers C- B+ C B- C D
Limited potential. Should be ready to play right away. Has the best outside game out of all the point guards. Defensively should be ok.
