Won't be on until tomorrow morning so I felt whoever has a top pick can review the prospects.
1. John Wall B+ C C+ B- D+ A
One of the best rated players out of high school in his class. Could of been a number one pick in 2009 if it wasn't for his attitude related problems. But in the last two years at Kentucky, Wall has become one of the most admired point guards in college basketball. After his freshman season, he was considered a top five pick and decided to play his sophomore year to prove he is a worthy number one selection. He can score, pass, dribble and steal. The full package. Teams may consider moving him to shooting guard if they are in need of a number one option. Not the best 3 point shooter but scouts feel he can develop one in time. Very athletic. Phenomenal inside scorer. Overall amazing potential.
2. Isaiah Thomas C B C+ C+ D B
The 5'9 Washington Huskies star made an immediate impact with his scoring. Throughout his time in college, he developed into more pure point guard. Scouts feel that despite his size, Thomas has the chance to become a star in this league. Very quick and strong. Great mid range game. Not a great 3 point shooter but could develop one over time. Good potential.
3. Kemba Walker C+ C+ C C+ D+ A
Walker rose to national prominence in his junior year, twelve games into his junior campaign, Walker was the nation's leading scorer, averaging 26.7 points per game. Led UConn to a national championship and was named as the tournament's most outstanding player. Scouts fear Walker's abilities to become a pure point guard. Amazing raw potential
4. Reggie Jackson C+ B+ C C D- B
The product out of BC has the ideal point guard size. Jackson will need time to grow as a player. But he can be used as an explosive weapon off the bench. Very good scorer. Great jump shot. Very quick. Needs to improve on his strength, handles and defense. Good potential
5. Jimmer Fredette C A- C- C+ D+ F
Best 3 point shooter in the draft. Unfortunately there isn't much else to his game. And not a whole lot to develop with
6. Cory Joseph C- C+ C C C- A
Great potential. Will need time to develop. If you have a late pick and have the patience to let him sit for a couple of seasons, you may have the steal of the draft. The Canadian guard made a name for himself at Texas with his outside shooting and tough defense.
7. Norris Cole C C C C C- A
Very raw. Solid growth but scouts feel he doesn't have star potential. Could turn out to be a nice backup though. If you are looking for someone to handle the ball and play defense, Cole is your guy.
