Shooting Guards
1. Dion Waiters C+ C+ C C- D+ B
The Syracuse 6th man had scouts praising his scoring abilities and handle the ball. At the combine, he showed scouts the need of being a ball dominant guard. Not a great wing player or a good defender. Offensively, he has all the tools to be a scorer in this league. Will need time to develop before being a starter in the league. Overall good potential
2. Terrence Ross B- C C- C- C- B
Great athleticism. The Portland product has a lot of holes in his game. Turnover prone who will need to improve on the perimeter. Solid outside shooter and amazing dunker. If he can someone manage to improve his 3 point shooter, you might have a good player. Overall solid potential
3. Jeremy Lamb C- B- C C D A
Very frail athlete. The Georgia born kid needs to improve in all areas of his game except his jump shot. Not a good driver. Not a good passer. And not a good defender. Teams will want to be patient with Lamb. Great potential but scouts feel the expectations are too high for him.
4. Kent Bazemore C+ C- C B- C B
Another great athlete. Pretty solid all around player. Will need to work on his jump shot before he starts seeing any playing time. Scouts didn't pay much attention to Bazemore until the combine. Where he outplayed the other shooting guards. Could turn into the steal of the first round. Solid potential
5. Will Barton C C C+ C D A
Another good athlete who is pretty solid all around. Not as strong as some would like. But scouts feel he has some potential. A ball hawk who can get to the rim. Will need to improve his long range abilities. Amazing potential
