Oregon will be receiving 4* RB Cordarrian Richardson's final visit, starting on Jan. 27th. He's a former Clemson commit from Memphis (he's supposedly a friend of WR Dillon Mitchell) but rumors are saying he's got some grade issues that has caused some of the big-time schools to back away from him. Seems that's going to be an issue for a lot of the recruits left remaining in this cycle.

Say what you will about Chip and Helfrich's recruiting styles, it's been nice not having to wait on pins and needles to see if a guy qualifies. I realize options are limited at this point in the cycle, but focusing on kids with good academic records is never a bad thing IMO.

I believe part of the Taggart approach will be to offer quicker and without as much due diligence as in the past. This will likely yield higher ranked classes, but more guys not qualifying and perhaps a few more questionable characters.

I wonder if these RB offers going out means something about CJ.

IIRC CJ confirmed his commitment to Oregon around Christmas when he released his final highlight tape.

From Nemac twitter: Checked in with Oregon 4* RB commit @Cjverdell_ last night. Said chances of him going to Oregon are "100 percent." Talented kid!
