For whatever reasons (they made the announcement thread premium), it looks like JHop is gone from DT. He's the only person they had on staff with any recruiting contacts and knowledge so that site is likely going to take a steep dive in quality, especially with Prehm not exactly known for his FB recruiting reporting. They'll likely have to rely on Twitter (they have two posters that usually scooped JHop so they'll be fine there) and Nemec for their Oregon recruiting scoops.

He was a joke for inside information. Always was and always will be. He is a fan that got too involved and it bit him in the ass. Good guy, just bad intentions.

Seriously give it a rest, we get it you're jealous of Hop. He didn't have bad intentions he did nothing wrong, and he was right a lot more than he was wrong.

Sounds like a lot of people are unhappy about this, especially with it so close to Signing Day. Many are ready to walk away from the site if they don't get someone at least on par with JHop or they outsource it out to non-Oregon people.

It's all pointless unless we know why he's gone.

And it seems like they aren't going to give them one. Prehm even posted in the announcement thread but it sounds like all he did was compliment JHop for his work on the site.

Which I don't think is a bad thing. Two posters I mainly want are Corpatty and 808quack since they're on top of stuff that gets posted on Twitter by recruits.

I only have a free account over there and can't do jack squat anymore since they changed nearly everything to premium.

I've been back and forth between these two sites from the beginning and I mainly stayed at duckterritory because of Justin so this I said a big development and no reason was given, which was odd! This is the site that started it all so look forward to being back here more often but losing Justin is big because he brought the info

FYI Corpathy was beauty the on as a mod ove there so I don't see him come no over here but I will ask 808, mudbloodvear and QB11 if things go poorly over there.

My guess is that this "firing" had nothing to do with behavior or an event, rather, this was about $. Justin and Matt weren't attracting enough subscribers to warrant two writers (albeit poor writers). Good guys with good intentions, but not enough money coming in. Just a guess.
