Not a paying member at DT, but based on the #of VIP up votes I'd venture to guess Oregon is putting the final touches to the contract on Cristobal. Anyone with intel on this would be greatly appreciated.

Prehm is saying he has sources from the American Football Coaches Convention saying the current buzz at the convention from coaches and admin. personnel is that Cristobal has accepted the Oregon job. But it has not been confirmed with anyone at Oregon yet so take it for what it is.

also Travis 3xx who is one of the most in-the-know guys on DT said that Cristobal is a done deal

Isn't travis 3xxx travis Haney?

Wish he could have brought a few recruits with him but I'm sure he'll get some good ones down the road.

There was a rumor on the Bama board that 5* tackle Alex Leatherwood committed to Bama soley because of Cristobal and would follow him wherever. Sadly he was an EE and is already in classes so thats a hit and miss.

EDIT: nvm that was clearly stated in the article....

I am wondering where this stands. What has me worried is that Auburns oc left and now they
have an opening. Hopefully the Cristobal thing is done and Auburn doesnt make a play for him.

Auburn would have to shuffle their entire staff around to get Cristobal in. Auburns' OC was also the QB coach. Would Auburn go through all the trouble of finding a QB coach, but also replacing their O-line coach for Cristobal?

1. Here is my basic update: Alabama source indicates Cristobal is still "weighing his options" while Oregon source says it is a done deal.
