OJ Mayo B- B+ C B+ D C
At USC, Mayo got into a bit of trouble and opted to play at Barcelona. After becoming draft eligible, Barcelona offered Mayo a 50 million dollar contract, much more than he would of made playing in DASL. Now that Mayo is in the prime of his career, he declared for the draft and decided on taking a pay drop. Overall he is the most ready prospect since Leon Powe. Not very athletic but he is great at finding the ball. Great scorer who can get to the rim and shoot the ball. Defensively, he will have no problems guarding starting SGs. Potentially, he probably won't improve much.
Zach LaVine C+ C+ C+ C C- A
Point Guard eligible. A high level athlete who needs to improve physically. LaVine amazed college scouts with his freakish athletic dunks in his high school highlight reels. LaVine can also shoot the ball. Although some may say his form is a bit unorthodox. Will need to bulk up. Great court vision and play making abilities. Amazing potential
TJ Warren C+ C+ C C+ C B
At NC State, Warren needed to become more vocal and learn to take over the game. Would score 20 points every game but ball would end up in someone elses's hands at the end of the game. Solid potential. Not athletic. Very high IQ when it comes to basketball. Good defender. Solid outside game. Will need time to work on his defense. Pretty good at defending the fast break though.
Gary Harris C+ C+ C C- D+ B
At Michigan State, he was never a jump out of the gym freak but Harris can dunk. Very smart. Solid scorer but needs time to improve. Does a great job at creating contact and getting to the foul line. Solid potential. Biggest weakness is defense but scouts feel he will get better.
Nik Stauskas C B+ C B+ D C
A 3 and D guy. Ready to start now. Low potential but Stauskas can play. Solid athlete. Great three point shot. And pretty good at defending drives and perimeter.
Tyler Johnson C C+ C+ C+ D+ B
Has the tool set to a solid starter in the DASL but will need some seasoning. Very quick but needs to polish his game in all areas. Very good potential.
James Young C C+ C C C- A
Very young player, similar to Archie Goodwin last year who would have benefited from staying in college longer. Very good shot but needs a great passer to help him get his shot off. Average defender who needs to hit the gym. There will be growing pains but a team looking to wait might have a very good player. Great potential.
Jordan Adams C+ C C- C+ C- C
Scouts wonder how he will react to sitting on the bench his first and maybe even second year. A ball dominant guard who is not scared of taking shots while not seeing the open pass. Needs to improve his court vision and maturity. His potential depends on how well he reacts to his benching.
P.J. Hairston C C+ C- C C B
Very active defender who enjoys getting in opposing players faces. Athletic but not the greatest athlete in the gym. Will need a season to adjust to the speed of the league. Very good potential.
Sean Kilpatrick C C C C+ C- B
Stayed all 5 years at Cincinnati and became a great team leader. Has no problem sitting the bench for a year or two and has a great work ethic and while he is not a master of one he is very good in many aspects of his game. Good potential
