It's a very good sign that he left Austin without committing.

Who becomes primary recruiter here? MC, cause he is the best at recruiting (per his 247 ranking)? Big Joe, as he is second best but a defensive guy? Or Leavitt?

Why do you post a link to another board requires a premium membership really?

It's the only place reporting this at the moment. And there really isn't much more to the story at this point than what's in the title.

I didn't realize it was info that required a membership. My bad. All it says is he liked his OV to Texas a lot but will still visit USC and Oregon in the next 2 weeks and announce on NSD. Not really any new news...just confirming nothing has changed

Interesting...because I heard from someone pretty tied into things with Texas that he is now a silent commit for the Longhorns and was expected to shut it down. Hopefully we're not getting played for the free trip...

Oh, but we are.

Won't be surprised if his Oregon trip gets cancelled

Statistically, the best % for landing OVs is the last weekend before signing day. Always bring the people you want the most in at the last weekend. It's something I learned as a Psych major at UO: statistically people remember the first and last of what they experience far better than the stuff in the middle.

That's what I was thinking. It sounds like he had a really good trip to Austin but the fact that he came away still uncommitted is good for Oregon. He's supposed to visit USC and Oregon in the next couple weeks. Get him on campus and I think he's a duck!

I'm not that confident, but it would be nice to get him on campus. Anything can happen. He would start right away, that's for sure.

I don't know about that. I think people are slotting Dye to move inside in a 3-4 and Swain really came on at the end of the year.

I'm almost positive Johnson would start. Swain, at best, was just competent.

Rarely do Jucos make a splash right off the bat. Jonah Moi and AJ Hotchkins were both really, really good Juco linebackers, and they've taken their lumps. Even Joe Walker had a rough first year.
