We are ranked 38th. Although that may not be very impressive, but our average star rating is extremely high AND outside of UCLA we have the best ranking for the amount of recruits we have (7).

Oregon doesn't have nearly as many commits as almost every program ahead of them, if Oregon signs a full class with the talent they currently have as committed they will have a top 15 class, maybe higher.

Quality over quantity and Oregon is #14 when it comes to star average which is much more telling.

There has been hints that might get a commit like Dontae Williams possibly. Any truth to that. If Gabe King comes hope we make a big push for him since seems like he is more likely to commit to Cal. Maybe McCain can work on him.

Anyone heard anything new with Eathan Grant? Is he officially a soft committ now, or is he still solid Oregon?

We need a running back, especially now that it is being reported that Lattimore canceled his Oregon visit. Maybe this means we are close with someone else? I hope?

I thought D Will was a soft commit?!? According to ESPN he still is a verbal commit...

It seems that Grant and Williams are are exploring all their options before making a decision.
But I have a feeling that Grant will stay a duck and Williams won't.

To me it seems as if Lattimore is actually going to visit. Here is a quote from a free article on Scout:
"Oregon is far away, but I am seriously looking at them too. Just about my whole family is visiting out there with me so I am serious about them like I am all the other schools on my list. I do not know where I am going yet and I don’t think I will until all of my visits are over with.”

Williams said he likes Minnesota and Oregon and we are even.

He said that he canceled the visit on the 31st for financial reasons. It sounds like if the whole family is trying to make it, that they may be saving up for the cross country trip so he might just be coming out at a later time. That's my guess based on what I've read.

Then there was some false information passed along on these boards, because we were told Williams was a soft commit. I hope he still plans on commiting to Oregon.

It wasn't "False information" it was a DIRECT QUOTE from Williams himself.

On Scout we are currently ranked 50th in total points, but 18th in average star rating. And I think they have some are recruits, like Grant, with a lower star rating.
