I'm sworn to secrecy, but it's going to be great news for the Ducks if it happens (and it's looking very likely). It's not a commitment or anything, but it's good.

I remember someone saying a big time recruit might move to Eugene to play high school ball. Could this be it?

It was a Detroit (Mich not Oregon)paper, could be a little lean

It's got nothing to do with Michigan getting into the picture.

I 'd a little when Rich Rod told Gabe that he has to work to play for UM... The 12 hour work day allegations all over ESPN probably made that pretty clear to him, Rich.

Seeing all this info about the transfer and recruiting issues at N.Guillford makes on wonder if this had anything to do with a kid like Chris McCain to transfer to a sports academy to finish his HS eligibility?

I wonder where gabe king would consider transfering since he can't play ball in carolina? Hopefully he can make it somewhere closer to Oregon to play.. That could maybe eliminate the whole homesick factor.. Would be cool if he came west..

Ok Ok Maybe I am out of the loop on this one. I read the article and found myself asking the same question as before I read the article.. how does this benefit Oregon. I know he is wanting to transfer but unlesss transfers to school in Oregon.. which I highly doubt.. how will this benefit Oregon. Forgive me if am missing something. Could somebody clarify maybe Tray Dub or somebody in the loop... Thanks.

Personally, I think he would look great in the Crimson and Black that is my alma mater of Tualatin High School, before transfering to the green and yellow. I'll have to shoot him an Email...

He would be a perfect candidate to go to a smaller state or division. He could dominate and still get the exposure since he already has the offers.

My guess is it was McCain who was thinking of transferring to Eugene do to his needing and extra credit to graduate and the fact that he loves UO. But when he found out it wouldn't help, he stayed in NC to play.
